This week is all about snacks! Especially during these long days spent studying or working from at home, one thing that should never be missing is: SNACKS.
But now the question is, how do I make plant based snacks that are yummy?
We have some ideas for you in store!
Today, we're going to show you some of our favorite chocolatey mid-day snacks that you should not miss out on.
Chocolate Banana Cookies
Super simple and easy, all you need for this is...
2 Bananas (ripe)
1 cup of Oats (Best is Quick Oats)
2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
Chocolate Chips (Optional)

First, you start out by pre-heating the oven to about 170 degrees. Then start mashing up the bananas in a bowl and add the cocoa powder and oats to the bowl and mix well until it has a cookie dough batter consistency. Then add the chocolate chips if you like, and start rolling the dough into small balls. Place these balls on your baking sheet and flatten them on the sheet, as they won't flatten by themselves in the oven. All you have to do now is place them in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes, wait, wait, wait and take them out, let them cool down and then they're ready to eat while writing your essay or even during online lectures!
Chocolate Cranberry Clusters
Another chocolatey and super easy snack, where all you need is...
1/2 cup Cranberries (dried)
3 cups Cornflakes (I recommend Bran Flakes, not sweetened)
280 grams Dark Chocolate (I usually use 70 percent)

First, you start out by melting the chocolate either in the microwave (be careful though!) or in a hot water bath in a pan, your choice. Then add the cornflakes and dried cranberries into a bowl and mix it up, add the melted chocolate and mix until all the cornflakes and cranberries are covered in chocolate. After, you make little clusters of the mix, about the size of a tablespoon and place them on a baking sheet. Now all you have to do is wait for the chocolate to harden again and then its ready to be enjoyed.
Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Dates
At first, I did not believe this was going to turn out so good, but wow, it did not disappoint, you should give this a try even through you might think dates are not your thing (pun unintended).
About 10 Dates (without core)
Peanut Butter
Dark Chocolate (as much as you like honestly)

First you start out again, by melting the chocolate. Then you open up the dried dates and spoon in about 1 tsp Peanut Butter in each. Once they're all filled with peanut butter, dip them one by one in the chocolate and then place them on a baking sheet. Once they're all covered in chocolate, take the baking sheet and place it in the fridge or freezer or outside if it is cold wherever you are. When they're hard and a little frozen, they're ready to be munched on.
We hope you enjoyed these chocolate snack recipes! They're not just yummy but also #sustainable. Tune in the next days as well, as we will update you with more tips on how to make studying/working from home delicious and easy! #stayhome
